arriving in the Republic of Belarus from Ukraine:
questions and answers
1. Question: Is Ukraine included in the list of countries where cases of COVID-19 infection are registered and it is necessary to stay in self-isolation after the arrival in the Republic of Belarus?
The answer: Yes, this country is included in the list. After arriving from this country to the Republic of Belarus it is necessary to stay in self-isolation for 14 calendar days from the date of arrival in the Republic of Belarus.
Depending on changes in the epidemiological situation of coronavirus infection in various countries of the world the Ministry of health of the Republic of Belarus is updating this list of relevant information on the official website of the Ministry http://minzdrav.gov.by/ru/dlya-belorusskikh-grazhdan/COVID-19.
2. Question: Is it possible to reduce the period of self-isolation when presenting a negative result of a laboratory examination for a coronavirus infection carried out before arrival from Ukraine or in the first days after arrival in the Republic of Belarus?
The answer: Presenting a negative result of a laboratory examination (by PCR or express testing), regardless of the time and place of its conduction, is not a reason for reducing the period of self-isolation. A positive test result for antibodies to coronavirus infection (class G immunoglobulins) using express tests is also not a reason for reducing the period of self-isolation.
3. Question: In what cases is it possible to reduce the period of self-isolation for arrivals from countries where cases of COVID-19 infection are registered?
The answer: The reasons for reducing the period of self-isolation of persons who arrived in the Republic of Belarus are:
an appeal of new arrivals to provide specialized, including high-tech medical care in healthcare organizations of the Republic of Belarus (by the decision of healthcare organizations);
a request from an organization located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus to reduce the period of self-isolation of foreign specialists arriving on the territory of the Republic of Belarus to perform work (provide services) under contracts concluded with them, sent no later than 5 working days before the arrival of foreign specialists to the territorial health organizations at their place of residence.
