In the capital, the morbidity of acute respiratory infections (ARI) is at an average level of perennial values characteristic for this period. The correspondent of the «Minsk-News»agency was informed about this by the chief state sanitary doctor of Minsk Neli Hindziuk.
"From January 27 to February 2 the morbidity rate of acute respiratory infections is 34,7% lower than in the same period in 2019," said N. Hindziuk. "In the structure of diseased children and adolescents predominate – 74,8%."
The chief state sanitary doctor also specified that according to the results of laboratory tests, parainfluenza, adeno- and rhinoviruses are most often diagnosed in diseased. Cases of influenza are singular, and moreover in patients arriving from abroad and not vaccinated against influenza.

– restrict attendance at public events, especially which are held indoors;
– avoid close contact with people with ARI symptoms;
– ventilate the premises as often as possible and carry out wet cleaning (pay special attention to surfaces that you often come in contact with – tables, chairs, door handles).
In addition, do not forget about maintaining respiratory etiquette – elementary rules of behavior in public places aimed at limiting the spread of respiratory diseases. In particular, use a handkerchief (preferably disposable) for coughing and sneezing. Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap or use antibacterial gels, hand wipes.
