During New Year holidays ambulance crews will be on duty at all public events. This was announced by Alieg Panchuk, the head of the department of medical protection organization in emergency situations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the correspondent of the "Minsk-News" agency reports.
In places of mass celebrations, medical stations will also work. Medical workers will accompany the delegations coming to the capital from other regions for holidays.
Hospitals provide the provision of reserve beds in case of emergency hospitalization, these institutions are also fully provided with blood, blood substitutes and all necessary medicines. Republican scientific and practical centers are also ready to serve patients. At the health organizations administrative duties are organized.
“On December 29, hospitals will work on a Saturday schedule, on December 30 — on a weekend schedule, on December 31 and January 1 — on a work on holidays schedule,” said A. Panchuk. “The clinics on December 29 have the working day, on the 30th — the day off. December 31 will be on a Saturday schedule, and January 1 — on a holiday schedule.”
