In 2019 the specialists from the Labor, Employment and Social Protection Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee will hold consultations twice a month in the “For life” offices, established at the capital polyclinics.
This was reported on March 20 by Iryna Dudka , the deputy chairman of the Labor, Employment and Social Protection Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee at an inter-ministerial conference on the results of the implementation of the medical and social project for pregnant women and their families "You are not alone."
“For the first time, we will organize the consultations in the polyclinics for expectant mothers and their families,” noted I. Dudka. “Twice a month our specialists will advise pregnant women and their relatives in the “For Life” offices (in the capital) about state support for couples planning children or already raising minors. For example, they will tell them in detail about the benefits, payments for the birth of a child and material assistance, relying in various life situations.”
We recall that the first part of “You are not alone” project was implemented in Minsk in January – February 2018. In the second part of the project (September 2018 – February 2019), Mahilioŭ and Mahilioŭ Region joined the capital. The project was supported by “SOS – Children's Villages” of Poland.
The goal of the project is to improve access of the pregnant women of the capital, as well as of Mahilioŭ and Mahilioŭ Region, to free services – medical, psychological, legal, which are especially necessary for them when carrying a child. Provision of comprehensive support to women and their partners in difficult life situations is also envisaged.
“The project has created an interactive map of access to free services for pregnant women,” added I. Dudka. “The map is available through a QR code at https://sos-villages.by/, as well as in social networks: FB – @HereUnotAlone, VK – vk.com/hereunotalone, INST – UNAminsk.”
